Keep it real

As the original “just add water” baking hack, Krusteaz has been helping families make delicious meals and desserts for more than 80 years. But young parents didn’t know what set Krusteaz apart from the competition, and didn’t have the time in their hectic lives to find out. We created the “Keep it real” campaign to celebrate modern parents and the imperfectly perfect moments that happen every day.

We started by giving the brand a contemporary site and loading it with fun recipes, everyday inspiration, hand hack videos, user-generated content, and blog content from our influencer group, The Bakers Dozen. Accompanying rich media units, seasonal promotions, and everyday social content drove people to the site and our highly engaging landing page environments. Launched in 2015, the new site broke their site traffic record the first month and saw double-digit growth in site engagement. In social, we quickly exceeded our 12-month KPIs for Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
